Special Need; Housekeeper/Homemaker Services
Rule: 461-155-0570

1. For OSIP and OSIPM clients who are receiving SSI or long-term care services in the community, and GA and GAM, approve housekeeper or homemaker service needs when home management, maintenance and chore services, and personal care services will allow clients to remain in their own home.

2. Allowable services include housecleaning, laundry, meal planning and preparation, feeding, bathing, and shaving.

3. SDSD determines the level of care needed and payment of the housekeeper or homemaker services.
